Riversides Own Mitch Lucker, of Suicide Silence, dead at 28


The Hazard Report sadly announces that Mitch Lucker, lead vocalist of local Riverside metal band, Suicide Silence, has passed away this morning at 28 after a motorcycle crash. 

The band formed in 2002 and has since established themselves as contenders in the world of heavy metal, winning Revolvers ‘Best New Talent’ in 09. They have released 3 studio albums and toured extensively around the world, accumulation legions of dedicated fansTheir latest album The Black Crown debuted at 28 on the Billboard charts .

Mitch was admitted into OC hospital at 9pm last night and was pronounced dead at 6:15 am this morning.

The bans Facebook page read this :
 “There's no easy way to say this. Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident. This is completely devastating to all of us and we offer our deepest condolences to his family. He will be forever in our hearts. R.I.P. Mitchell Adam Lucker - We Love You Brother.”
Our hearts go out to all of the family and friends that are suffering the loss as well as the multitude of fans the band has acquired in the past ten years.
